Leather Rhino Sculpture

A wonderfully characterful mid-century leather rhinoceros sculpture, believed to date from around the 1950s. A particularly appealing decorative piece, it features beautifully rendered detailing throughout, with a wonderful colour glass eyes and aged character that give the sculpture considerable presence.

The combination of the sculptural form and richly coloured leather makes this an unusual and highly decorative object, equally at home within a mid-century modern interior, study, library or eclectic collection.

Testimonials

★★★★★

Handsome sideboard bought in mid December, and delivered to Germany 10 days later (despite chaos at Dover). The sellers made this a neat straightforward transaction, and wrapped it, for the journey, with TLC.

I recently brought an Art Deco dressing table from the furniture rooms. The piece was exactly as described and Im very pleased with it. They were extremely easy to deal with, prompt with their replies, and the delivery arrived exactly when arranged. Very good service all round

★★★★★

We bought two French leather club chairs from Toby. The chairs are great and good value, and they were very reliable and organised sellers. However the best thing was that - without being asked - they offered for us to check the condition of the chairs when they were delivered and to take them back if we were not happy. This was incredibly fair. In the end the chairs were exactly as described.
