Art Deco Burr Walnut Convertible Pool Dining Table by Sir William Bentley

Pool / Dining Table

by Sir William Bentley

A superb and exceptionally substantial Art Deco-style burr walnut full size pool table by Sir William Bentley, dating from around the 1990s and designed with an ingenious wind-up mechanism that allows the table to be raised or lowered between pool-table height and dining-table height. This gives the piece an impressive versatility, allowing it to function as a full-size games table while also becoming a striking dining table when required.

The table is constructed to an exceptionally high standard, with a very heavy and solid build and a slate bed. The original taupe-coloured baize remains in place and has developed a wonderful, authentic character over time. Beautiful ebony-black stringing runs around the edges of the table, providing a crisp contrast against the richly figured burr walnut.

The mechanism is all in good working order and the table is in fantastic condition throughout. A spectacular statement piece for an Art Deco interior, combining practicality with the presence and craftsmanship of a substantial piece of furniture.

This pool table comes with pool and snooker ball set, set of 4 cues and two rests, triangle and score chart
