Art Deco Furniture

Art Deco furniture is a design style that emerged in the 1920s and 1930s, primarily in Europe. It was born out of the desire to break away from the traditional styles that had dominated design for centuries. Art Deco was heavily influenced by advancements in technology, exotic cultures, and modernism.

The movement originated in Paris, France but quickly spread to other major cities such as London. The term "Art Deco" comes from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes held in Paris in 1925. This exhibition showcased a variety of new designs ranging from furniture to jewellery and textiles.

One of the most iconic aspects of Art Deco is its furniture. The sleek lines, geometric shapes, and bold colours make this furniture stand out as both sophisticated and exotic. It was designed by many prominent designers during this period, including Eileen Gray in London and Jacques-Emile Ruhlmann in Paris.

Art Deco Bronze Sculpture

Art Deco bronze sculptures are known for their quality and intricate details. These pieces of art are created using a lost wax method, which involves creating a mold from an original sculpture. The definition and texture of the sculpture are then captured in the mold, resulting in a highly detailed piece.

To further enhance the beauty of these sculptures, they are often placed on a marble base that provides stability and adds to their overall elegance. Each piece is hand finished by skilled artisans who take great care to ensure that every detail is perfect.

If you appreciate fine art and exquisite craftsmanship, then Art Deco bronze sculptures should be on your radar as they offer timeless beauty that can be appreciated for generations to come.

Art Deco Desks

Investing in an Art Deco desk not only adds elegance to your workspace but also provides a nice place to work. Additionally, the use of high-quality materials such as lacquered wood, chrome accents, and leather tops ensures that these desks will last for years to come.

One of the key features of Art Deco sideboards is their quality craftsmanship. They are often made with expensive veneers such as walnut, ebony, or mahogany, which give them a rich and opulent look. This chest of drawers looks fantastic, it's the statement piece in the room. The quality is great. Toby was responsive and communicated clearly about delivery. The delivery was arranged fast and was smooth despite the chest of drawers being a heavy and imposing piece of furniture. I would buy again from Toby
