Mid-Century Danish Dining Table

A beautifully proportioned mid-century Danish dining table crafted in richly figured Rosewood, dating to the 1960s. Elegant, versatile, and thoughtfully designed, this table transitions effortlessly from an intimate circular dining setting to a larger oval form, making it ideal for a refined dining room or contemporary interior.

The circular top displays exceptional Rosewood grain, carefully matched to create depth and visual movement across the surface. The table opens smoothly to reveal a cleverly engineered butterfly leaf, which folds neatly beneath the top when not in use. Once extended, the table comfortably converts from a four-seat round table to a six-seat oval dining table, maintaining balanced proportions in both configurations.

The table stands on solid turned Teak legs, stained darker to complement the richness of the Rosewood top. This contrast enhances the table’s sculptural quality while remaining true to classic Danish modern design principles of the period.
