Mid-Century Danish Cabinet
A superb quality mid-century Danish rosewood cabinet dating from circa 1960, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship, rich natural grain, and the clean architectural lines that define classic Scandinavian modern design.
This elegant storage cabinet combines refined form with practical function, making it an ideal addition to a sophisticated living room, dining room, study, or interior where timeless Danish design is appreciated. The beautifully figured rosewood veneers display outstanding depth and movement throughout, with warm tones and dramatic grain patterns that give the piece real visual presence.
The upper section features four finely proportioned drawers, perfectly balanced across the top and ideal for organising smaller household items, table linens, or office essentials. Below, two generously sized cupboard doors open to reveal a spacious interior fitted with shelving, offering excellent concealed storage for dining ware, books, barware, or everyday household use.
The cabinet is fully lined in rosewood internally, a mark of superior craftsmanship and quality that elevates the piece far beyond standard production furniture of the period. The subtle raised gallery back and elegantly framed doors further enhance its understated sophistication.
Presented in excellent professionally refinished condition, the cabinet has been carefully restored to preserve the richness of the timber while maintaining its original mid-century character. It is ready to go straight into the home with no further work required.
A highly desirable and exceptionally well-made Danish modern piece, offering both beauty and practicality with timeless mid-century appeal.
