This Table and set of 6 Hans Brattrud rosewood Scandia chairs with padded seats and backs were produced by Hove Mobler in Norway around 1960 the dining table also designed by Hans Brattrud, has hairpin legs which have some pitting to chrome, and a rosewood top, the chairs have been fully reupholstered using 100% wool fabric. The chairs have undergone light restoration and are in excellent condition and the chrome frames are also in excellent condition with little to no pitting. Makers label to underside of seat

We have had a few sets of dining chairs in the varying models of rosewood and teak and generally they are in good condition on purchase, these items that are produced by Hove Mobler are of great manufacture and have undergone vigorous testing this is why they are items that will last. he was one of the pioneers of bent ply work that is so clever in its simplicity, the comfort and flex that these chairs have is in no way comparable to any modern furniture and was way ahead of its time
