A French 19th century sold oak coffer or blanket box ideal for the foot of a five foot bed, with panelled front and sides, lock missing and non original hinges in good condition having age related wear and waxed finish, with great colour and patina

Restoration; we have waxed this coffer, but over its extensive life I think it has had a replaced back new hinges and pieces spliced in here and there but overall full of character, the oak does have signs of old worm we have fully treated this just incase
