The drawer fronts are inlaid with a dramatic geometric design in burr walnut and feathered walnut veneers, arranged in an angular chevron motif that is quintessentially Art Deco.

The chest is constructed on a solid oak carcass, with hand-cut dovetail joinery and original oak drawer runners, showcasing excellent craftsmanship. Each drawer is fitted with polished chromed and gilt bronze handles that add a sculptural flourish and reflect the era’s commitment to decorative detail.

Fully restored and hand-polished, the chest is in superb condition, with a rich, warm patina to the veneers and a smooth, lustrous finish.
