Chinese Carved Zitan Sideboard
A two door sideboard fitted with drawers inside produced in China in the 1920’ from Zitan and crisply carved and then black lacquered, I am unsure of the timber but the cabinet is very heavy almost like it is padouk, the carved panels are excellent quality and definition. The lacquer appears to have mostly warn on the right hand side and some general wear all over but I think this adds to it character and you can see the colour of the timber
