Art Deco Cocktail Cabinet Walnut parquetry and Gilt Bronze Fittings

Art Deco Cocktail Cabinet

An exceptionally good quality French art deco cocktail cabinet, solid walnut and in parquetry walnut veneer, segmented spiral to the front with column parquetry uprights having gilt bronze fittings to either end. The lift up lid is supported when open this is sycamore lined with a walnut lift out mirrored tray. To the right is a bowed opening door also sycamore lined with three mirrored top shelves for glasses and to the left has a single drawer to the top and a glass shelf the cabinet has been sympathetically restored still having its original polish and is in excellent condition throughout.

Whilst researching for this cabinet and being very familiar with Jules Leleu because of the exceptional parquetry veneer work would be my immediate recognition for this article but I believe it has some characteristics to the work of Andre Arbus with the column uprights and git bronze work so unfortunately the research must go on
