Exquisite French Art Deco metal statue, designed by Max Le Verrier, depicts a male nude hunter in dynamic motion, complete with a removable spear. The artfully crafted metal body is elegantly displayed on a geometric stone base, featuring the artist's signature delicately engraved on the back. This exceptional statue is in impeccable condition and comes mounted on a signed stone base. Despite some minor patina marks, it remains in very good condition.

Max Le Verrier (b.1891)
The famous French sculptor gained recognition for his sculptures depicting the ideal female figure with athletic prowess. He joined the military during World War I but was captured and imprisoned, during which time he created sculptures using clay. Upon his release, he pursued further education at the Beaux-Arts School in Geneva. Following his return to France in 1919, he established a studio where he produced and sold his figurines..
Max Le Verrier was renowned for his Art Deco-style sculptures, which included not only figurines but also elaborate lamp bases. His artwork gained significant acclaim, culminating in the award of the International Exhibitions Medal of Honour in 1937.
