Mid Century Danish Sideboard
A Rare and very large Danish Rosewood sideboard designed in the 1960s by Kofod Larsen it has five doors with drawers behind the right two and a mini bar in the left with wine rack and pull out slide the sideboard features to top lip around three edges and solid turned legs. It is in excellent condition throughout and very well looked after but still does have the odd sign of wear and tear it has benefitted from a full polish

Born in 1921 in Denmark, Larsen had a long and hugely successful career in furniture and design. He started out in the industry after completing his studies at the Danish Royal Academy in Copenhagen and it was not long before his designs were beginning to stir interest all around.
It was the stunning designs and the combined use of soft materials that made his work rather unique, often pairing leather with some beautiful wood – rosewood or teak.
