Mid-Century Chest of Drawers 

A beautifully sculptural mid-century Italian commode, crafted in richly figured bubinga veneer and designed with softly curved ends that give the piece a refined, architectural presence.

The chest features four generously proportioned drawers arranged in two side-by-side pairs, each fitted with elegant shell-form brass handles that add a subtle decorative flourish. The warm tones and distinctive grain of the bubinga are enhanced by the sleek inset glass top, finished in a soft beige hue — a sophisticated surface detail that elevates the overall silhouette.

Raised on gently tapered, serpentine legs with substantial brass sabots, the piece balances Italian glamour with clean mid-century modern restraint.

Versatile in both form and function, it could be styled beautifully upstairs in a bedroom as a statement dresser, placed downstairs in a living room or lounge as an elegant storage piece, or used in a hallway to bring warmth and sophistication to an entrance interior.

The woodwork has been fully polished and presents extremely well. The inset glass top shows only very light surface scratching consistent with age and careful use.
