Art Deco Chest of Drawers
A striking and beautifully crafted Art Deco chest of drawers, dating to the 1930s. The piece is constructed in rich burr walnut with bookmatched veneers across the drawer fronts, producing a dramatic and symmetrical visual effect. The three full-length drawers are fitted with original circular brass pull handles, each drawer lined with mahogany and running smoothly. The chest stands on a stepped plinth base and features softly rounded corners to the frame — a hallmark of the period’s modernist design language. Restored and polished to a fine satin finish, this is an excellent example of early 20th-century English cabinetmaking, both decorative and practical in any interior.
