Art Deco Nest of Tables
A superb English Art Deco nest of three tables dating to circa 1930, beautifully crafted in richly figured walnut with exceptional quality throughout and a wonderfully warm original colour. Elegant, practical, and highly decorative, this striking set works beautifully as side tables, lamp tables, or occasional tables within a refined living room, drawing room, or sophisticated interior.
The design showcases the bold geometric elegance of the Art Deco period, with beautifully bookmatched walnut veneers displaying dramatic grain movement and striking natural figuring across each top. The warm honey and caramel tones of the walnut create exceptional depth and visual richness, making these tables particularly attractive statement pieces.
Unlike standard nesting tables, this superior quality set features tables that slide smoothly into place on integrated runners, offering both strength and refined craftsmanship rarely found in comparable examples. The raised gallery ends and clean architectural lines enhance the sleek modernist styling while maintaining warmth and elegance.
The graduated proportions allow the smaller tables to tuck neatly beneath the largest, offering versatility for entertaining and practical everyday use, while preserving a compact footprint when nested.
Presented in fully restored condition, with excellent colour, rich polish, and a beautifully preserved finish throughout.
A highly desirable and exceptionally well-made English Art Deco nest of tables with outstanding grain, elegant form, and timeless decorative appeal.
