Burr Maple Coffee Table

A lovely quality solid burr maple top and Oak framed coffee table, English made possibly in the early 1950’s, not my usual style but having this exceptional quality I could not let it pass, to find a solid burr maple slab top of this level with tight burr and figuring. The base is nicely shaped and jointed and on either end has an Acorn shaped different timber inset into the wood. Unfortunately I cannot identify the maker. The table has been fully polished by hand and is in excellent condition throughout
