Archie Shine Furniture UK

In the early 1950's and after the festival of Britan in 1951, Archie Shine became a high end producer of British mid century furniture, later in 1957 Archie Shine Furniture took on board Robert Heritage as a designer and became very popular with the wealthy, many ranges of furniture were made in his London east end factory and sold from Harrods, Heals and many other top retailers throughout the UK

This dining room setting was in the CoID's stand entitled 'Living in Britain' at the Furniture Exhibition, Earls Court, London, 1958. The stand was designed by Helen Challen and including 'Hamilton' sideboard designed by Robert Heritage and made by Archie Shine Ltd., dining table and chairs, tableware and pendant light fitting etc.
