 Desk by Fratelli Proserpio

This vintage Modernist writing desk produced in Italy in the 1960's by Fratelli Proserpio. It features a unique tambour slide mechanism that reveals the writing surface when pulled out. Inside, there is a small shelf for a Laptop or iPad, as well as two small drawers made of solid teak wood for pens and other small items. Despite being around 60 years old, it has no major flaws or cracks. The mechanical parts function well, although there is some wear on the wooden rim of the roll-up section. Overall, it has a nice patina and can be used as a standalone desk. The desk has been partly polished and is in very good condition throughout
