This gives the piece an impressive versatility, allowing it to function as a full-size games table while also becoming a striking dining table when required.

The table is constructed to an exceptionally high standard, with a very heavy and solid build and a slate bed. The original taupe-coloured baize remains in place and has developed a wonderful, authentic character over time. Beautiful ebony-black stringing runs around the edges of the table, providing a crisp contrast against the richly figured burr walnut.

The mechanism is all in good working order and the table is in fantastic condition throughout.
