A Matched pair of Italian hall chairs in solid walnut, intricately carved from the Renaissance Revival period. Each chair having a curule form seat mounted with a horizontal back and having carved acanthus leaves, then mounted with a cartouche and flanked by grotesque masques with carved armrests on each side.

A Matched pair of French hall chairs in solid walnut, intricately carved from the Renaissance Revival period. Each chair having a curule form seat mounted with a horizontal back and having carved acanthus leaves, then mounted with a cartouche and flanked by grotesque masques with carved armrests on each side. The chairs are in lovely condition throughout and have had some minor restorations over the years and have benefitted from a wax polish.
