The Beoing 767 Exit Door Mirror
Up-cycled Chic – The Boeing 767 Exit Door Mirror
What was that you said?... She’s officially lost the plot! Jibbering on about up-cycles. I suppose, it’s a new form of bike, right? WRONG
It’s a new fangled word for creating useable items out of existing goods. Taking something that has become defunct and giving a new lease of life. The ultimate version of re-cycling I suppose and maybe the best environmental way forward!
Anyhow, it’s a growing trend and from an aesthetic point of view, creates pieces that are both distinctive and original. We’ve sold a varying array… from the ‘Tuba Light’, ‘The Industrial Metal Cart Coffee Table’ to the stunning ‘Jet Engine Bar’.
The latest incarnation is that of a ‘Boeing 767 Exit Door Mirror’. Still with its livery and commercial markings intact. Taken from a decommissioned aircraft of the 1970’s it holds all the styling of its age and although large in proportion carries the charm of the airways right into your living room.
